Announcements of the previous competition
The winning team of the Minus Co2 Challenge was announced in London during the Opening Session, Monday 2 June, in the presence of the top of our geoscience and engineering community. In addition, The three best teams winners were invited by Equinor to a privileged visit to 'Equinor's office in Aberdeen. A prize that could open doors in a students’ career!
The trophy winners received thre travel grant to present their work in the next Near surface conference in the Hague. The next edition of the Minus CO 2 Challenge is not yet launched and therefore there are no current announcements.
The finalist of the Minus CO2 Challenge 2019
On Monday 2 June, all team presented their fully integrated development and evaluation plan to the jury composed by Peter Watterson, Dirk Orlowsky, Maren Kleemeijer, Philip Ringrose, Nan Cheng and Paola Tello Guerrero
The jury nominated first, second and third place.
First Place: Manchester University, UK ( Most Holistic Solution)
Second Place: Dalhousie University , Canada ( Most Coherent Teamwork)
Third Place: Universidade Fliumiense, Brasil( Most Innovative ideas)
